Who is HR’s Simon Roberts?
Here’s a brief Intro:
Over the past 18 years Newcastle’s Simon Roberts has been a star performer on the karting tracks across New South Wales.
Since beginning his karting career at the tender eight the second-generation racer has turned into one of Australia’s most talented drivers behind the wheel of a kart.
The 26 year-old is a dual New South Wales Karting Champion, finished on the podium at this year’s National Championships and also finished third in Australia’s elite karting series – the CIK Stars of Karting Series.
The CIK Stars of Karting Series is the pinnacle of karting in Australia with drivers using similar equipment to that used in the European and World Championships.
After coming within five points of claiming the title last year, Roberts is aiming to go two better in 2010 and has got his sights set on the victory in the Pro Light (KF1) category of the CIK Stars of Karting Series.

2007
- Equal Highest Qualifier at the Australian Titles at Eastern Creek.
- 4th in NSW State Titles in Clubman Heavy ay Newcastle.
2008
- 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in the Last 3 rounds of the NSW Leopard Series in Leopard Heavy
- 2nd Fastest Qualifier at the Australian Leopard Final in Leopard Heavy in Dubbo
2009
-1st in the NSW State Titles in Leopard Heavy
-2nd in the NSW State Title in KF2
-2nd in Premier State Cup Series in Leopard Heavy.
-3rd in the Australian Titles in Townsville in Leopard Heavy.
-3rd in the Australian Championship Series in KF2.
