High Roller Energy's downhill mountain bike rider Rhys Kuhn recently raced the
Australian Open at Thredbo, NSW. Aboard his brand new bike from new sponsor GIANT
BIKES Rhys had a good practise round on the bone dry track. "Keeping up with the top
five in my category my confidence was high."

With Race day came the rain and cooler temperatures, being his first time racing in
the mud he was determined to make the top 3 " I couldn't feel my hands let alone
hold onto the bars."

With riders leaving at 30 second intervals he over took 3 riders in the pouring
rain, "each turn had a lake of its own. Feeling confident I went over the finish
line to hear the announcer yell - Currently 2nd Place Reece Kuhn"

40 minutes later after the rest of the field finished the race it was declared

Reece Kuhn- 2nd Place Australian Open.
